Jacob Dennis is a mixer and recording engineer with an eclectic credit list, and experience spanning over a decade. He developed a passion for music while playing in bands with friends growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 2004, he moved to Seattle with his friends to pursue a career in music. They spent many hours creating together in recording studios and through this process overtime Jacob fell in love with music production. This inspired, Jacob to deepen his knowledge and skills by pursuing a degree in audio production at the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. While there, he met his mentor, producer/engineer, Ryan Greene. Over the years, Dennis grew his craft underneath Greene’s guidance eventually leading both of them to make the move to Los Angeles, California to open a studio called Crush Recording.
Jacob’s clientele has continued to expand beyond Crush leading him to work in many of LA’s renowned music studios. Dennis ’client list boasts the likes of top artists, songwriters, and producers such as Oliver Tree, Bruno Mars, Adele, Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, and Kem.
Dennis brings a creative vision that employs modern and classic recording techniques in pursuit of sounds that are both innovative and nostalgic. He calls it "Your favorite past time painted in the colors of now!"
