Frank Roszak

Producer/Mixer

 

History: Roszak's career began in the 70's at the Soundmixers Recording Studios located in the historic Brill building in New York City. His first no. 1 single was with the song "Music is the Answer" by artist Colonel Abrams. Because of this success, he went to England where he co-produced such hits like "West End Girls" by the Pet Shop Boys and many others including Living In A Box and Five Star.

 

Past credits include: produced Bahamen (Mercury Records) "I Like What I Like," "2 Zero 00," "Funky Nassaun," "The Best Of The Baha Men 2000"; mixed Doc Powell (Samson Records) "Life Changes," "Don't Let The Smooth Jazz," "Inner City Blues," & "SunDay Morning"; mixed Michel Polnareff (Sony Records) "When I am In Love"; produced Nehemiah (Universal Records) "From The Heart"; mixed John Sykes (Mercury Record) "Merry Axemas & engineered "20th Century." Also worked on a Michael Jackson Riff; Stanley Clarke "Here & Now"; George Duke "Double Scale"; Kirk Whalum; Layla Hathaway; Jermaine Jackson; Suzy K; Nona Gaye; Tarkan; Bobby Womack; Arnold McCuller; Eight Wonder; Kim Wilde; Brother Beyond, T-Connection, Ann Lewis & Etta James, to name a few.

Current credits:  Presently Roszak is in production with several projects including mixing for Nehemiah's second solo album; producing and mixing for flamingo guitarist, Yussi, also producing and mixing "It's Cool Like Dis" featuring current artists joining forces with top recording artists from the 70's including The Temptations, T Connection, Bobby Womack, Billy Preston, to name a few.
